Day02 Beijing Sightseeing The first spot is the Tiananmen Square in the center of the city. After this, you will stop at the Forbidden City and enjoy its imperial history. Next, you will have lunch and learn to make Chinese dumplings with a local Beijing family. After enjoying a traditional meal, you will take a rickshaw tour to the Beijing Hutong, Pipe Street, and Pub Street. Then you will visit a Pearl Shop and go to the beautiful Summer Palace. Day03 Beijing Sightseeing Today, you will visit the gigantic Beijing Zoo, where you can see the popular Panda House. Next, we will drive to the legendary Great Wall of China, where you will have lunch in the Jade Museum. After lunch, walk around and explore the Great Wall, and then we will head back to downtown Beijing. We will stop for pictures at the Beijing Olympic village. Day04 Beijing-Xian Today, you will head to the airport and fly to the ancient city of Xian, where you will have lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, we will stop by the Big Goose Pagoda Square. Day05 Xian Sightseeing After breakfast, we will take you to a public park, where you might experience locals doing their morning dancing, singing, or Taiji. Next, you will visit to the famous archaeological site of the Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses. After this, we will head to the Terracotta Replication Factory, where exact copies are made of the terracotta soldiers you just saw. Day07 Lhasa Sightseeing The day's adventures will begin at the Norbulinka Park, the largest man-made garden in the area. Next, we will head to the Sera Monastery, where you will have the chance to observe "sutra debating," a Buddhist lama learning and discussion technique. Day10 Chengdu Sightseeing You have probably heard about the giant pandas in Chengdu, and this morning, you will see them in action at the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding. After this, we will go to the Jinsha Site Museum. Our last stop will be the Broad and Narrow Alleys, where you will see an interesting mix of traditional lanes, old courtyards and gardens. Day11 Chengdu-Shanghai Today, you will head to the airport and fly to Shanghai. Our guide will welcome you and provide transportation to the hotel. The rest of the day is yours to do as you please.
