The open-air bath is surrounded by the mountains of the Hakone, the water of onsen is the best in the Hakone area, and flows direct from the source,wood chips are used as a biomass fuel source for heating the hot-spring bathing water. The Japanese-style rooms have one main room plus a second room with tatami mat floors, paper sliding doors. Each room with a good view of a garden surrounded by lush greenery and offering a traditional Japanese experience. Kijitei Hoeiso has the house with a high ceiling with a steep sloping roof transferred here from Gifu prefecture.
