Tokyo Dome

Located in Bunkyo District in Tokyo, Tokyo Dome is a venue used for many events such as baseball games, concerts, and special activities. As a landmark of Tokyo, it is also the home field of the Japanese professional baseball Yomiuri Giants. Tokyo Dome not only hosts basketball games, but also American football games, professional wrestling, mixed martial arts, K-1 events, and concerts. Even international artists would perform here every year. A top Japanese stadium that can accommodate 55,000 people, Tokyo Dome has an egg-shaped roof with a flexible film that cleverly controls the air pressure to maintain the appearance. Opened in 1988, Tokyo Dome is the first air support structure roof in Japan.

What to Do in Tokyo Dome

The famous Thunder Dolphin in Tokyo Dome City can reach the speed of 130 km per hour at a maximum angle of 80 degrees, creating a thrilling experience of falling. The roller coaster is located at city center, allowing player to enjoy the excitement of flying through buildings.  Tickets: 1200 yen / ride (tickets can be purchased at the counter by the door). The park open until 21:00.

Big O: The world's first hollow ferris wheel, which passes the Thunder Dolphin. On the Big O, you can look down on Tokyo Dome from above, admiring landmarks such as Tokyo Sky Tree, and admiring the sky view of the city center. Eight of the cabins are equipped with karaoke, and Western songs are also available.
Tickets: 850 yen / ride (tickets can be purchased at the counter by the door). The park open until 21:00.

ASOBono: ASOBono is the largest indoor playground in Tokyo where adults and children have fun together, regardless of weather conditions. This playground is for kid above age of zero. There are spaces for running around as well as for playing various toys. It is divided into areas highlighting the distinctive themes of the ocean, forests, streets and stations in various areas, facilitate with many toys and games.

Tokyo Dome Roller Skating Rink: The largest indoor roller skating rink in Tokyo. You can enjoy the joy of ice skating regardless of the weather and season. Ice skates of 13 to 30cm are prepared for all kinds of guests, from children to adults. It is open until 22:00 on weekdays and Saturdays (until 21:00 on Sundays and legal holidays). It is available for visitors who want to have fun at night.

The Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum: The Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum, first of its kind in Japan, was opened in 1959 next door to Korakuen Stadium, the mecca of professional baseball in Japan. The stadium gave way to the Tokyo Dome in 1988. In the same year the museum moved to the present site within the Tokyo Dome.
Open Hours: (Mar-Sept) 10:00-18:00, (Oct-Feb) 10:00-17:00.

Spa LaQua: Spa LaQua is a spa located in the center of Tokyo, with natural hot springs flowing from 1,700m below Tokyo Dome City.  As a high-quality healing and relieving space, it also has restaurant as well as beauty treatment facilities.
Business hours: 11:00 all day to 9:00 the next morning. The bathroom is open until 8:30AM the next day (and 7:30AM for the open-air bath).  The last admission time is at 8:00. Some facilities are unavailable during the night.
