Yoyogi Hachiman Shrine was a vibrant village 4,500 years ago. This shrine was built in 1212 during the Kamakura era to worship the war god Yawata god. It is famous for forgoing bad luck and inviting good luck. It is designated as the Yoyogi Hachiman site in Shibuya-ku. The torii and the temple are made of stone, and the combination of green and gray creates a peaceful atmosphere for this historical monument. The courtyard retains the relics of the Jōmon period residential complex in Jingyuan. The surrounding trees are dense and the scenery is very beautiful.

Farewell Monument is the place where the current Yoyogi Park is located (Yoyogi-kamizonochō), residents who once emigrated to build an army training ground reluctantly engraved the farewell words and worshipped it. It was built in January of Meiji 42.



Table of Faithfulness is a monument inscribed with the names of the people who levied from this area during the Russo-Japanese War of the Meiji 37 and 38 years. After the war, the aspirants were transferred to the shrine and were preserved. The Spiritual Worship Ceremony is held on March 23 every year.
